Antiquehand made mid to late 1800s velvet cape
1.totally hand made
2. good condition, not perfect
3. velvet shell all good, no holes,not torn, no thin spots
4. clean, found some spots about 5 hard to see on right front,slightly bleached the velvet, would not show in the photo
5. lining is worn, mostly around the edges, see photos
6. lining is silk withquilted inner lining, see photo
7. liner lining is cotton batting
8. the maker quilted the silk and cotton bats together before assembling with the velvet
9. embroiderydone with glossyfinish cotton floss, single strand
10. original hook at neck
11. notice hand made cord with tassels hanging from back of neck
12. very nice all original item
13. the shoulders are not shaped
