Antique Woman\'s Black Velvet Opera Length Cape
Beautiful antique black cape. The fabric feels like velvet but doesn\'t look like any velvet I encountered before. I\'m thinking it was made in the 1920s but given the fabric, it could have been made earlier. It looks to be lined with silk. There are no labels so the cape may be handmade. The cape is 42 inches long and measures 64 inches along the bottom edge. The cape is in very good condition. There is some shredding of the lining in an area near the neck about 4 inches by 2.5 inches. (See photos.)
