~~ One-Of-A-Kind Boxing Collection ~~Vintage 1920s Boxing Letters YOUNG BROWN James A Gallagher Manager LOT of 70+ Letters~This is a treasure trove of vintage letters written by a 1920s competitive boxer~There are around 70 letters with a few photographs included as pictured.Over thirty of the letters from 1920 -1921 are all boxing related.Most of the boxing letters are a few pages long with detailed information about boxing bouts, his injuries and personal information.Several of the letters are on stationery from his manager,James A Gallagher. (See pictures.)Some of the letters are written on plain paper in the envelopes.The letters are mostly fromYoung Brown to his sister and mother about his travels, health, boxing, training, and his boxingmatches.They areheartfeltletters that give aglimpse back in time from the perspective of a young boxer travelingto fight and how much he misses his family. There are also some additional letters, mostly family related in some way.In addition to the letters on boxing, there are 30+ letters to which range from 1930 through the 1950s. There are also some Navy letters from the 1950s in the lot. We found a letter signed by Arthur Howard on Frans Buffa & Sons Letterhead which also caught ourattention.
