Offered for sale is an unusual hand-fabricated copper-alloy amulet or pendant, attributed as a probable Filipino folk-Catholic anting-anting / agimat.
The front displays a deeply incised eye within a triangle, layered over a second triangle to form a six-pointed geometric design. This imagery is commonly associated with the Filipino Trespico or Eye-of-God protective tradition.
The pendant is constructed from thin metal plates with an irregular folded or crimped perimeter and a separately attached suspension loop. The opposite face retains a heavily worn raised or impressed design that is no longer clearly identifiable.
