You will receive the original painting and its attached silk brocade border on its rigid backing board. We do this to eliminate the catastrophic risk of shattered glass destroying the delicate artwork in transit, and to significantly reduce the shipping costs for the buyer!

Artistic Highlights & Composition:

• The Scene: This captivating composition centers on majestic, gnarled pine trees clinging to a prominent rocky outcropping in the foreground. At the water\'s edge, a scholar and an attendant stand looking out over the misty expanse. In the mid-ground, a cluster of traditional thatched-roof houses (kayabuki) is nestled precariously along a rocky cliffside path, backed by towering, mist-shrouded mountain peaks.

• Gold Flecking (Sunago): The artist masterfully used a golden wash and fine gold dust flecking throughout the sky, mist, and water, giving the piece a luminous, ethereal glow.

• Vibrant Pigments: Features vibrant azurite blues and classic \"moss dot\" stippling (taiten) in bright turquoise and mint green to represent distant vegetation along the ridges.

• Signature & Seal: Signed \"Shunpo\" (春甫) in the lower-right corner with a matching red artist\'s seal carved in ancient script.

Format & Measurements:The painting is bordered by a traditional pale champagne-colored silk brocade featuring a woven scrolling floral pattern, mimicking the aesthetic of a classic kakejiku (hanging scroll). It is mounted to a rigid backing board, ready for you to slip into a frame of your choosing.
