The corset features boned construction, gold sequin and beaded appliqués, ruffled trim, beaded fringe at the bust, hook-and-eye front closure, adjustable shoulder ribbons and a fully adjustable ribbon-laced back. The extremely full feather bustle creates a dramatic silhouette. Also included is the coordinating rhinestone, beaded and feather headband accessory shown in the photographs.
FIT: Bust measures approximately 35" around (photo) as currently laced and can expand to approximately 36" while still maintaining coverage from the white modesty panel beneath the back lacing. The modesty panel itself is approximately 6" wide, so the corset can also be laced considerably smaller. Please use the measurements and photographs to determine fit rather than relying on a conventional dress size.
CONDITION: Pre-owned theatrical costume in good overall condition with signs of previous wear/use. Because of the elaborate feather construction, some natural feather irregularity, fluffing, bending and occasional feather loss should be expected. The embellishments, sequins, beading, ribbons and hardware should be reviewed closely in the detailed photographs, which are considered part of the condition description. Feather will shed as this was a unique and hand constructed item. Costume has been worn once.
