Rare 1927 White House Roof Timber Souvenir Block w/ Original Box & Pamphlet For Sale

Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic piece of American history: a section of original longleaf pine timber removed from the roof of the White House during the historic 1927 renovation under President Calvin Coolidge.

According to the attached historical brass plate, this specific timber served for 112 years, helping support the roof of the Executive Mansion. It was originally built into the mansion in 1815 during the residence of President James Madison, following the burning of the White House by the British in the War of 1812.
