With Remarks on the General Effects of Sea-Bathing" by the Late E.Sibly, M.D., F.R.H.S. The Fifth Edition, "illustrated by elegant copper-plates".
With the frontispiece portrait of the author, and 4 other full-page engraved colored plates (2 of which showing various Stages of Formation of the Human Fetus).
The author, Ebenezer Sibly (1751 – c. 1799) was an English physician, astrologer, Freemason, and writer on the occult.

Very good antiquarian condition. 8vo (8 3/4" tall) rebound in later 20th century hardcover binding - mabled boards, maroon leatherette spine and corners, gold lettering on spine. Traces of private inventory label removed from the bottom of the spine. Inside Very Good with some light occasional foxing, marginal notes in old hand on the bottom margin of 2 pages only - printed text not affected. The binding is tight, no loose, torn or missing pages, no stamps, complete with 196 pages, 5 colored plats of engravings (including frontispiece).
A rare early edition - only a handful of copies of that era are currently offered on the internet, ranging in price from US$ 1,815 to US$ 12,000.
