Polytone 102 Amplifier
Herb Ellis, Joe Pass, this is the model that started it all, the Polytone 102.
2 channels, reverb and tremolo. This one has a single 12\" speaker. Everything works with the exception of the
tremolo, which seems to work when the amp is first switched on and fades as the amp warms up. Lot of info online onhow to repair the tremolo circuit of this amp. In very nice cosmetic condition. Reverb knob has some edge chipping, but other than that, a very well preserved 102 inoriginal condition, even the original 2 pronged power cord {don\'t know if that is actually a plus!}.
Has that lush, warm sound that drew Herb and Joe away from the tube amps of the time to Polytone. Please ask any questions you may have prior to offerding and you will get a complete, honest answer.Thanks!
