The Polytone 102 combi is an excellent vintage solid-state amplifier widely used by jazz and rock guitarists, such as Joe Pass, George Benson, Joe Pass, Herb Ellis... It has built-in overdrive, tremolo and reverb with EQ and a Bright/Dark switch. The 3-speaker model includes one 12\" speaker and two 8\" speakers. This is excellent American made amplifier with a clear and warm sound! Sublime for archtop jazz guitars. Many records and concerts from the 70s made with the 102.
Voltage 110v, the adapter to be expected. This amp is solid state, but it is warm and touch responsive like a tube amp. The clean channel is perfect for jazz or that Fender-like clean tone or use the distortion setting for a warm, overdriven classic rock or blues sound. There are bright, normal, and dark settings on both channels. The distortion is controlled by the red 2 stage knob. Reverb and tremolo work fine. Must have. Thanks.
