William Benjamin Stephen (1876-1961) opened his 3rd pottery, Pisgah Forest, in 1926 in Arden, NC. He joined the Southern Highland Handicraft Guild in 1939. He\'s known for the freestyle cameo method, using a small brush with several layers of translucent porcelain clay to create scenes of pioneer west and American life.
