Saunders.Volume One (1963; Head and Neck)has 356 pages with 332 figures; Volume 2 (1964; Thorax, Abdomen and Extremities) has 421 pages with 378 figures. This is a matched set of the first English translation of Pernkopf (in)famous anatomy atlas that features superb, exceptionally detailed illustrations of regional anatomy.
The volumes are in good condition with tight bindings but the covers show rubbing, bumping, and edgewear to the corners, edges, and imitation leather of the spine. The illustrations are clean, bright, and unmarked. As in all 1963 & 1964 copies printed by Saunders, the pages show a light yellowing on their edges, which does not extend into the illustrations.
