Here is a complete Klepper Areus II kayak with sail kit. The sail has some stains consistent with long-term storage and some dampness. I believe that a soak in OxiClean and some direct sunlight will make a significant impact, but I offer no guarantee of That. The rubberized hull appears sound but has wear marks also consistent with age and use. The original repair materials are included, including hull patches, but the old cenebt should simply be discarded and a Proper marine vinyl cement purchased should they needs be employed. I did not inspect for air bladders, but these may likely be present. What’s more, whereas many Klepper kayaks are sold conveniently with no mention of them, let’s face reality: they would be too damn old to work reliably. That means you’re either going to ask me for a work around, or you’re going to need to buy some!! The blue canvas deck had 4 roughly finger sized holes. I patched them with original blue Klepper canvas: the patches are hemmed, glued and sewn with heavy thread and should last for years. For a fee, I will be glad to throw a coat of varnish on the wooden frame. The mahogany paddles are in great shape, but there is a bit of wiggle at the joints: of course all of these have that, but not all sellers are candid. I honestly bought this as a personal item, but my children appear less energetic shall we say than I feel becomes the project of using this boat! Their loss is your gain: and Savings!!

I have in sum partially refurbished the entire setup. I mended the main backpack that holds the hull. But you should either request that I do more or be prepared to do work on it yourself as these are more labor intensive say than a bicycle.
