Vintage sterling silver ring by J. Tostrup, Norway's renowned Royal Court Jeweler (est. 1832), signed "STERLING J. TOSTRUP NORWAY" inside the band. Likely designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen. Features a bold shield-shaped face in rich orange/red guilloché enamel over a hand-engraved silver ground, centered with a sculptural raised silver hourglass motif. Adjustable open-back triple-ribbed band fits most finger sizes. Face measures approx. 1 x 0.9 inch.
Mid-century Scandinavian modernist design — beautiful vintage patina with light crazing to the enamel consistent with age, no chips or loss. A striking statement piece from one of Norway's most celebrated silver houses.
