Ilex-Calumet Caltar 10” F6.3 Lens with No. 3 Acme Synchro Shutter
This shutter / lens is in very good condition. It\'s been tested and is in good working order.The exterior exhibits very little wear and is in great shape overall.
- Glass is in good shape. Minor dust internally.
- Aperture blades are in good working order.
- Aperture dial moves smoothly.
- Shutter fires at all speeds - slower speeds are slow
- All buttons, switches, and dials move smoothly and function properly.
KNOWN ISSUE:
- Slow speeds are off, but all complete their cycle.
- Speed setting dial is very stiff but moves the complete range of speeds.
- Previous owner appears to have made a modification on the color range? See photos 17 & 18 above. It doesn\'t seem to have any effect on the lens / shutter performance.
