Here we have a rather rare Woodcut from 1866! Harpers Weekly Nov 3 1866 featured a woodcut representation of the two teams in the baseball finals that year, the Brooklyn Atlantics and the Philadelphia Athletics. The Brooklyn team won the best of three series 2-1. Very nicely framed and matted I removed this from an original newspaper myself so I can confirm and guarantee its authenticity. Measures 11 X 141/2\" and 181/2\" X 22\" black wood frame that is 1 1/2\" thick. Ready to hang and admire, how many of these really are there out there?
