HANDWOVEN MIDDLE EASTERN KILIM / FLATWEAVE TABLE RUNNER:
$125.00
HANDWOVEN MIDDLE EASTERN KILIM / FLATWEAVE TABLE RUNNER – IRAQ WAR PROVENANCEBeautiful small handwoven kilim/flatweave decorative textile that I personally acquired in the Middle East while serving during the Iraq War approximately 20 years ago and brought home with me.It has spent essentially the last 20 years stored away rather than being used.Traditional geometric design featuring three red patterned panels separated by smaller geometric motifs, with a cream field, black border and fringed ends.Approximately 20 inches long × 7½ inches wide, excluding fringe. Please see the photographs with the tape measure for dimensions. This is a small decorative textile, not a floor rug. Its long, narrow size makes it particularly well suited as a runner or display piece on a desk, table, counter, dresser, cedar chest or similar piece of furniture. It would also look excellent framed or otherwise displayed on a wall.
