PAIR OF HANDWOVEN MIDDLE EASTERN KILIM / FLATWEAVE TEXTILES For Sale

PAIR OF HANDWOVEN MIDDLE EASTERN KILIM / FLATWEAVE TEXTILES – IRAQ WAR PROVENANCETwo beautiful small handwoven kilim/flatweave textiles that I personally acquired in the Middle East while serving during the Iraq War approximately 20 years ago and brought home with me.They have spent essentially the last 20 years stored away in Tupperware containers rather than being used. Both feature traditional geometric designs in red, black, cream and earth-tone colors with fringed ends. The two designs are different but complement each other very well.Approximately 18–20 inches across, excluding fringe. Please see the photographs with the tape measure for actual dimensions. These are small decorative textile pieces, not floor rugs. Their size makes them much better suited for display on a desk, table, counter, chest or other piece of furniture. They would also look excellent professionally framed or otherwise displayed on a wall. The photographs include the backs of both pieces so you can see the woven construction.
