The Process
Gathering Roots
Once the ginseng garden reaches 3 years old the roots are big enough to transplant effectively. We will begin collecting them from the garden.
Sorting the roots
Once the roots come from the field they are sorted for quality roots that will become transplants. This process discards roots with blemishes or disease.
Climate Controlled Storage
All transplant roots are then stored in a climate controlled environment. This keeps the roots in a dormant stage and increases the germination percentage in the spring.
