Ancient Roman silver denarius of Emperor Caracalla, struck at Rome circa AD 206–210.
Obverse: Laureate head of Caracalla facing right. Legend appears to read ANTONINVS PIVS AVG.
Reverse: Roma seated left, holding a small figure of Victory in her extended right hand and a spear in her left, with a shield positioned beside/below the seat. Reverse legend appears to read RESTITVTOR VRBIS (“Restorer of the City”).

The coin shows circulation wear, surface roughness, and evidence of a likely old cleaning. There are several visible splits/cracks along the edge and flan, including some extending inward from the rim. Despite these condition issues, the portrait, seated reverse figure, shield, and portions of both legends remain identifiable.
