This is an antique Art Deco metal coin bank from Paris with a 3-D model of the Sacred Heart Basilica on the hinged lid and a photo behind glass of the Eiffel Tower on the front. There is a slot on one side for coins and a clasp on the back which is missing the tiny padlock & key that would have come with the bank. Although small, the bank is heavy and most likely made of lead or spelter and still has traces of a copper finish. The beautiful Art Deco styling places its date at circa 1920. The bank measures 4.75 inches tall by 3.25 inches long and is in excellent condition for its age except for some corrosion in the interior (see photos).
