Model BB "Balopticon"
Serial No. 58209
Large early projection apparatus featuring twin Bausch & Lomb projection lenses, bellows focusing assembly, large internal condenser lenses, metal lamp housing, base/carrying case and separate electrical/control component as shown.
This is an impressive piece of early photographic, optical and educational projection equipment.
UNTESTED. Due to its age and the condition of the original electrical components/wiring, the unit has not been plugged in or electrically tested. It is being sold as-is for restoration, display, collection, parts or historical purposes.
The various mechanical controls have not been fully tested. Both large Bausch & Lomb lenses are present. Glass shows dust, haze/soiling and age-related condition that has not been professionally cleaned.
Overall condition is heavily used and unrestored, with considerable dust, surface wear, scratches, paint loss, oxidation/rust, aging to the bellows and other deterioration consistent with an antique piece of equipment. Electrical cord and wiring are old and should be considered unsafe until inspected/replaced by a qualified person.
