Antique Bausch & Lomb brass microscope manufactured in Rochester, New York, retaining its original fitted wooden cabinet and period optical components.
This elegant scientific instrument features a lacquered brass body, black enameled horseshoe base, rotating nosepiece with three objective lenses, original mirror assembly, condenser, and an original Bausch & Lomb eyepiece marked No. 1.
The microscope is marked Bausch & Lomb Optical Co., Rochester, N.Y. and is believed to date from the early 1900s.
