Antique A.I. Root Company beekeeper’s bee smoker, manufactured in Medina, Ohio, USA.
Wonderful early beekeeping collectible featuring the original A.I. Root Co. “Bee-Keepers’ Supplies” advertising/manufacturer graphic on the wooden bellows board. The graphic includes the bee illustration and remains very readable.
Constructed with a metal smoker body and cone attached to wooden bellows. The piece has substantial age-related patina and wear that gives it an excellent primitive/farmhouse appearance.
Approximate measurements:
9.5” × 9.5” × 5”
Condition: Antique pre-owned condition with oxidation, discoloration, surface wear, scratches and other signs of age and use. Wood shows age and wear but the original A.I. Root graphic remains particularly attractive. No additional manufacturer markings, patent numbers or dates were found. Bellows and smoker are being sold as a collectible/display piece; functionality has not been tested.

Age: Believed to be an early-20th-century example based on its construction and A.I. Root branding, but the exact manufacturing date has not been verified.
