Antiq~Victorian~Eastlake~Deep Well Picture Frame~Fits 8 X 13~11.5x16.5 OD~Ornate For Sale

This Victorian Deep Well picture frame shows its age! It has a distressed look. The wood portion of the frame looks very detailed and the inset or middle of the frame has paint on 3 sides but the lower section the paint is flaking away. My guess is that it was a maroon, green and maybe a dark blue with gold accents. I do not restore frames I simply clean them up. It could get repainted to simulate the original or a different color all together. It has an eyelet on the top of the frame with a wire hanger. The outside perimeter of this frame looks to be a painted golden color. I think this frame could tell a few stories! This was photographed on a sunny day so pictures may show some sun glares. Please inspect with the zoom tool as this is the piece you will be getting. Great piece if you like the distressed look or if you wanted to clean it up I think it would do wonders with a little touch up paint. Get creative with this one. It fits a 8 x 13. The OD is 11 1/2\" x 16 1/2\".The frame is 1 1/4\" thick and the frame is 2 1/4\" deep from inside edge to outer frame. The wood frame has some very nice flowing carved details.
