ANTIQUE EARLY BLACK CHINTZ PRIMITIVE PRAIRIE MOURNING BONNET KENTUCKY CABIN AAFA For Sale

If you collect original authentic antique prairie clothing don't miss this wonderful early black chintz mourning bonnet from an olde rural Kentucky log cabin homestead where I found it many years ago along with a lot of other fabulous prairie clothing. It's treadle sewn and was worn at some point but not much back in the day. It's been in my personal collection for a very long time so it's fresh to market for you here now. Please study the pics for a better description and more details than I could ever write here. It measures about 14 inches long and about 13 inches wide when laying flat. It does have some expected wear and age spots and what looks to be an olde make up stain as it's an authentic original and not newly made but again I feel it is still in great shape for it's age. I've had it hanging on an antique peg rack with my other early prairie clothing for a very long time and it displays nicely year round but especially during autumn for witching season with your pumpkins and gourds and bittersweet. It gathers in back and ties under the chin. It's still totally wearable if you need one for a living history event. :)
