Remember, \"Schedule\" pipe is ALWAYS measured to the inside. (i.e. - if a pipe is listed at 3-1/2\" Schedule 40, it means 3-1/2\" ID) and on a 3-1/2\" pipe, Schedule 40 is about 1/4\" thick wall, so about 4\" OD...but Schedule thickness varies, with pipe size, so ask questions if you don\'t understand pipe measurements.
