WONDERFUL LARGE 19C ROSEWOOD INLAIDANTIQUE JEWELLERY BOX - FAB INTERIOR
Forsale isa WONDERFUL LARGE19c figured inlaid rosewood veneered antique restored and repolishedjewellery box. Dates approximately 1820/1870.
InWONDERFUL restored condition. FULLY LOCKS.
Several old veneer repairs with a slightly rippled top but essentially in great restored condition. Inlaid with mother of pearl to the central cartouche and keyhole escucheon.
Its becoming harder and harder to obtain boxes in this sort of condition.
The side draw is accessed by removing the internal brass pin on the right inner edge which lifts in and out with ease. The draw runs in and out with ease.
It is a really terrific box!!

Boxretains the original solid brass lock, original top catch, with original solid brass hinges. Comes complete with aVictorian key that FULLY LOCKS the box. Instruction given once sold.

Comprising a wonderful interiorthat has been relined in expensive velvetmaterial of thehighest quality, the same as the interiorof the box and the side draw. All the added dividers within the top compartment can easily be repositionedor removed if desired. The top compartment canhold a fewrings in an upright position. The two additional large dividers to the inner base of the box can also be removed or repositioned.
Beneath the base of the box has also been lined invelvet to stop any scratches to other surfaces.
A superb box, and would make afantastic gift.
