Complete 1930-31 set of The Chemistry Leaflet, Volume IV (Nos. 1-34) — a full academic-year series issued weekly by Science Service in cooperation with the American Chemical Society.
Each eight-page issue explores a separate topic — from Hydrogen and Nitrogen to Chromium, Vanadium, and “Achievements of Young Chemists.” Richly illustrated covers and period advertisements capture Depression-era advances in industry and education.
This set is string-bound as originally kept by a classroom instructor, with all issues signed “Henry Pruitt.” Pages show mild toning and edge wear but remain complete and legible. A rare survivor of early 20th-century science instruction.
