This copy was actually used as a wedding record and contains an original handwritten marriage certificate documenting the marriage ofRichard W. Whitehead of Portland, Oregon and Lucia Woelfel of Portland, Oregon, onOctober 19, 1910, atCentralia, Washington. It includes witness signatures, an original period photograph, and a pasted newspaper clipping announcing the marriage license.
A particularly attractive early-20th-century wedding keepsake with strong period graphics and an unusually complete piece of personal history. Original cord/tassel binding remains present. There is age toning, spotting, edge/corner wear, and some separation/wear at the interior binding consistent with its age.
