Lovely 19th Century Japanese cloisonne on bronze lidded jar with melon shape. The jar has four convex side panels in assorted color and pattern combinations with white beaded bordering. The small dome shaped cover has a wooden round finial and the jar sits on three small bronze feet. The inside is glazed.No chips cracks or crazing.
Measures 3 3/4\" high (to top of finial) with a 2 1/2\" overall width and a 1\" top openingWooden handle (Finial) had a chip that someone colored over. A spot of paint would make it look nicer, but we leave that to the new owner to decide. See last couple pictures.
