The iDatalink Maestro SW ADS-MSW is a programmable universal analog steering-wheel-control interface designed to retain compatible factory steering-wheel audio controls when installing an aftermarket radio. It translates the vehicle’s factory steering-wheel-control signals into commands recognized by the new radio, allowing supported functions to continue operating directly from the steering wheel. Each compatible button can be programmed with a standard short-press command and an additional press-and-hold command for expanded functionality.

• The aftermarket radio must include a compatible steering-wheel-control or wired-remote input. This interface cannot add steering-wheel-control capability to a radio that does not support it.
• Online programming is required before installation. The module must be connected to a Mac or PC using the included USB cable and programmed through the iDatalink Maestro Weblink Desktop application.
• This product is not universally plug-and-play. Installation may require locating and splicing into the vehicle’s steering-wheel-control, accessory-power, and ground wiring.
• Additional vehicle-specific accessories may be required and are sold separately.The Maestro SW is designed primarily for steering-wheel-control retention.
