c.1930s-1940s Japanese Type 30 Bayonet & Scabbard Tokyo Arsenal Marked
Imperial Japanese Type 30 bayonet with scabbard. Ricasso marked with the Hikari Seiki Seisakusho manufacturer mark and Tokyo Arsenal acceptance mark. Hooked quillon example with wooden grip panels and serial numbered pommel.
Approximate measurements:
Blade length: 15.5"
Overall length: 20"
Scabbard length: 16.25"
Pre-owned vintage condition. The wooden grip panels show cracks, wear, and age-related shrinkage as shown in the photographs. The blade shows wear, scratches, scattered pitting, and finish loss consistent with age, storage, and military use. The blade appears to have been sharpened during its lifetime but has maintained much of its original profile and overall form.
The scabbard shows scratches, finish wear, pitting, oxidation, and handling marks consistent with age and use. The bayonet and scabbard present as an honest, untouched example with signs of service, storage, and decades of age.
