DESCRIPTION:
This Besancon design was originally published by J. Jerger in 1801 and subsequently by Renault in 1845, with Juno and Jupiter replacing Le Pape and La Papesse. Blanche took up publishing this tarot in 1875 before Kirchner took over in 1878. Blanche print markers at card margins.
