Very Good condition. Large portfolio and slipcase show small areas of rubbing to the boards and some smudges of unknown origin. Corners are straight and square. The interior folded portfolio pages are clean and square, with a warm vintage patina from age. Plates have been gently handled, with no dirt or fingerprints noted. This is an ex-library copy, with Topeka Public Library stamps on the backs of the illustrations and a library label on the top flap of the folio. The front matter includes a library dedication label referencing Orpha Naomi Hathaway and The Free Public Library, Topeka, Kansas. Overall, a beautiful and impressive copy with strong visual and collector appeal.
