Yamaha YHR-668ND Double French Horn For Sale

This is a used Yamaha YHR-668ND full-double horn. It is made of nickel silver, is a bell-cut model, and has the serial number 020XXX. It has seen quite a bit of use and has numerous scratches, dents, and areas of chipped lacquer, but it functioned normally. The rotary valves operate smoothly, and as shown in the photos, all slides extend fully. At first glance and upon palpation, I did not find any solder joints coming loose, which is common in older horns (my apologies if I overlooked any). Please judge the condition based on the photos. The previous owner was a non-smoker, and the instrument was stored and played in a smoke-free environment, so there is absolutely no cigarette odor.

I used it in a wind ensemble until last month. I’m listing it for sale because I’ve upgraded to a new instrument. I believe it’s in condition appropriate for its age, but there may be some damage I overlooked or didn’t notice… Please understand that it’s in this condition and agree to no claims.
