Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Yamaha CR-600 Natural Sound Stereo Receiver from the mid-1970s. This unit delivers 35 clean watts per channel and works excellently as a high-fidelity amplifier, though it does have a common mechanical tuner issue detailed below.Functional Condition:
- Amplifier Section: Fully operational. Every input (Phono, Aux, Tape A/B) has been tested and delivers a clear, balanced, and powerful sound. All control knobs, tone settings, and volume sweeps function smoothly without static noise. The dial backlights illuminate perfectly. The power knob is missing.
- Radio Tuner: The tuner string has come loose from its internal spools and pulleys. Because the dial cord is detached, turning the front tuning knob does not move the dial pointer or adjust the radio frequency. The electronics of the tuner are intact, but the mechanical string tracking needs to be rethreaded/repaired to use the AM/FM radio.Cosmetic Condition:
