While both are respected classics, the C-2x is a substantially more ambitious design and represents another level of Yamaha engineering.Remove the cover and the difference becomes obvious. The C-2x is extraordinarily sophisticated internally, with an extensive component count, elaborate circuit architecture, carefully executed board layouts, substantial power-supply engineering, and meticulous attention to grounding, shielding and signal integrity.
