Application Guide How to Apply 1 Wire Brush Loose Rust Remove all loose, flaky rust by wire brushing or mechanical agitation. Do NOT brush down to bare metal — the product bonds best to a rusty surface. 2 Clean the Surface Remove all grease, oil, and debris using a cloth, brush, or air pressure. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry or proceed on a damp surface. 3 Stir Thoroughly Stir the product until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved. Mix well before each use. 4 Apply Evenly Apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer. Ensure the surface is uniformly covered. For spray application, the product may be thinned with water. Do not apply to surfaces hotter than 100°F. 5 Allow to Fully Cure Allow the product to dry and cure completely before applying a topcoat.
