Winchester Logo Butt Plate - Models 12, 21, 24, 42, 37, 50, 97, 101, 1911 -New:
New Old Stock hard plastic butt plate.OAL = 5.097 inches and Width = 1.625 inches. Mounting Holes 3.375 inches center to center. Butt plate is 0.380 inches thick at the heel and 0.250 inches at the toe. Slight curvature to the plate.
Has M-21 stamped on the back.

May require final edge fitting to your stock. These are slightly oversize to allow for fitting to your individual stock.
To fit the butt plate, attach it to the stock and use a sharp tool or nail to scribe around the back of the plate. Remove the plate and use a hand file to work it down close to size. Don't use a grinding wheel as it can heat the plate and melt it. Continue fitting with 100 grit sandpaper using a sanding block to keeo the edge square. Final sand fit with 220 grit and check fit. If you want a polished finish use a polishing wheel with polishing compound.
