An original 1918 copy. The cover and pages show age, shelf wear, and 1 stained page front and back along edge next page is lightly stained and the next it is not visible. I photographed all of those. Stain does not hinder the written word. This is the earlier version of the book titled Flying Fury. I have both copies, and I personally love the photos in this one. Covers are bumped; 1 page has pencil writing about an old airplane engine. Please see the photos. FREE SHIPPING
For Sale: WWI, Early Aeronautics Collection.
PLEASE consider following me on @ state_ofgrace. I\'m a part-time seller, and I list a few items each day.
I have recently been given the task of selling my friend’s WWI collection. She inherited it from her father, and he from his father many years ago, but she was overwhelmed by the emotional and daunting task and recently asked me to help her out. I have been a member of for 20 + years and am a trusted seller.
The collection is large and consists mainly of rare early aeronautics books, manuals, catalogues, etc., and an extensive collection (over 5,000+) black and white or sepia WWI photographs. The photos consist of aeroplanes, crashes, soldiers, etc., that have been painstakingly catalogued and identified by her father with notes. Most photographs are stamped on the reverse ( Not for reproduction via a copyright from one company or another). I have not examined and catalogued all the crates, but my dining room table is full of rare first editions, and I need to start listing some items. I am not at liberty to donate anything, so I will post several items each day on and hope that they reach a large audience. I do ship worldwide, and I mention this because some items are written in French, German, Etc. Like all my items, this comes from a smoke-free, clean, and very happy home. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. I carefully inspect and wrap each item with care and hand-deliver packages to my local post office daily. I am always happy to combine shipping. I try my best to upgrade shipping when I can.
