WWI M1917 or M1941 Naval Boarding Cutlass with Leather Scabbard. The ricasso is unmarked, no markings anywhere, the M1941 was manufactured in the U.S. by Milsco (Milwaukee Saddlery Company) beginning in 1940 and had an unmarked blade. The bakelite grips have a couple minor nicks, and one looks like it is shrinking (a little pulled away at the top and bottom edge). The blade is straight, unsharpened, no nicks, the tip is a little sharp, and has a little light pitting with minor surface rust on the last 4\" by the tip. The leather scabbard is solid with no weak spots, surface leather loss, scratches, tight stitching, the pull latch tab is complete, and one staple is missing from the drag. Length of the blade measures 24 15/16\" (1 3/8\" wide x 1/8\" thick), the length of the sword is 29 3/4\", and in the scabbard it is 30 1/2\".
