Today I am offering this fabulous vintage Phantom of the Opera musical water globe featuring Raoul and Christine embracing on the rooftop of the Paris Opera House.
Produced by the San Francisco Music Box Company, this collectible captures one of the most memorable scenes from the beloved Broadway musical.
The globe features finely detailed hand-painted figures inside a clear glass globe mounted on an ornate black and gold base adorned with the title and the iconic Phantom white mask and red rose.
It measures approximately 6½\" high, and 4¾\" across the base. It is a substantial heavyweight piece.
It is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition and works great.
- The wind-up key is on the underside of the heavy glass globe. It turns without issue.
- It is in full working order and smoothly plays the tune, \"All I Ask Of You\".
- The water inside is clear with iridescent glitter included.
- There is no damage to the glass globe or the resin base.
- Inside the figurines are clean with bright original colors.
- The pictures make them look a little yellowish, but in reality they are not.
- The water level is accurate with a small relief bubble at the very top so the glitter swirls when you invert the globe.
The underside bears all the official original undamaged 1986 labels from the
San Francisco Music Box Company.
