Woven in Ohio, USA. Bottom is signed and dated by the weaver. Believe the date was originally 1993, but it looks like someone may have written a "4" over the 3.
Good vintage condition. It does have @5 chipped weaves near the bottom that were noted. These large baskets that can sit on the floor sometimes get damaged, causing chips like these. They do not structurally harm the basket due to the big double weaves, and isn't really noticeable.
