Vtg Emerson 911 Eldorado Transistor Radio Gold Yellow Nevabreak W Leather Case For Sale

Fresh from a local estate that had hundreds of radios, this is an Emerson Model 911, 9 Transistor Radio "Eldorado" in yellow/gold, with its original leather carrying case.  I was able to get some very faint static when I installed the required (4) AA batteries (not included), but I could not get any reception.  There is a fair amount of sticky green coating of much of the backside interior electronics, so it will need a good cleaning and servicing to get it functioning.  Due to its condition, the radio is being sold "As Is".  The case is intact, with the usual nicks along the bottom where a coin or screwdriver is traditionally used to open the rear side.  There is also some wear to the silver trim on the grill.  The plastic battery holder is present and the battery contacts look good.  The leather carrying case is in excellent condition, with no tears or evidence of wear.  The leather strap is also intact and in excellent condition. Great transistor radio to add to your collection.  In order to ensure safe delivery the radio will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer all will be considered.
