COCKPIT-INSPIRED BLACK DIAL
The matte-black dial was designed to evoke the instrument panel of a high-performance aircraft.
Applied metal indexes, specialized hands and aviation-inspired scales create a highly technical appearance while remaining remarkably legible.
One of the most interesting details is the green, yellow and red scale surrounding the dial.
The colors represent the Lithuanian national flag, paying tribute both to Vostok-Europe\'s Lithuanian heritage and to Jurgis Kairys himself.
But the colors aren\'t there simply for decoration.
They are integrated into the watch\'s telemeter system, providing colored reference zones that can be used with the chronograph to estimate distance from an event such as a lightning strike.

Inside the watch is the Japanese TMI VK68 mecha-quartz chronograph movement.
Mecha-quartz technology combines the accuracy and convenience of quartz timekeeping with mechanical chronograph operation.
Unlike an ordinary quartz chronograph, the VK68 provides the satisfying action associated with a mechanical chronograph, including a mechanical reset mechanism that snaps the chronograph hand rapidly back to zero.
