This vintage Zuni style sterling silver ring, size 6 1/4, showcases a beautiful cluster of natural turquoise cabochons arranged in petit point fashion across a fan-shaped face. Each stone is individually hand-cut and bezel-set, a hallmark of true Zuni lapidary skill, with silver bead detailing running along the base for added texture. The multi-band split shank gives the ring a comfortable, secure fit while supporting the substantial cluster face. The turquoise shows lovely natural color variation from soft sky blue to deeper matrix-rich tones, confirming genuine, untreated stone. There appear to be hand-etched initials on the reverse, suggesting this may be an early or personally marked piece. This is a beautifully detailed, statement-sized cluster ring with real vintage weight and character — a wonderful example of traditional Zuni petit point craftsmanship. Letter "N" hand engraved hallmark which we are unable to identify maker.
This piece is sourced from a private Uxbridge, Massachusetts estate collection with the collector having Mescalero Apache heritage, alongside other notable Navajo pieces from the same source.
