Vintage Wm. Rogers & Son “April” Silverplate Flatware Set – Service for 8 – Original Chest, Paperwork & Both Keys
Beautiful vintage Wm. Rogers / International Silver flatware set in the April pattern, introduced in 1950.
This is a large matching set with approximately 55 pieces, including place-setting pieces and serving utensils. The set is housed in its vintage Eureka Silverware Chest – Guaranteed Tarnish Proof.
A particularly nice feature of this set is the surviving original paperwork, including the Wm. Rogers Reinforced Plate AA guarantee documentation. Both original-style keys for the silverware chest are also included.
Flatware features an ornate floral design at the ends of the handles. Pieces may carry period Wm. Rogers / International Silver markings including “Wm. Rogers & Son IS April” and “Wm. Rogers Reinforced Plate AA.”

Condition:
Vintage pre-owned condition with normal surface scratches, tarnish and signs of use consistent with age. Overall the flatware presents very nicely. The wooden chest shows age-related exterior scratches, finish wear and edge/corner wear as pictured. Interior remains attractive. Original paperwork shows age, folds and wear.
