No. 623294 and carries the William Adams backstamp stating:“This Pattern was introduced by William Adams in 1780 being a copy of a Chinese pattern…”Please note that the inscription refers to the historical introduction of the pattern and does not indicate that this individual dish was manufactured in 1780.Rectangular/octagonal form measures approximately 9 inches across. Features an elaborate blue transfer decoration with central bird, flowers and basket motif.Vintage condition with expected signs of age and manufacturing/transfer irregularities.
