Vintage Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Square Trinket Box – Ulysses – Original Box
Beautiful vintage Wedgwood blue Jasperware square covered trinket/jewelry box featuring crisp white applied classical relief decoration against the iconic Wedgwood blue ground.
The lid features the classical “Ulysses Staying the Chariot of Victory” motif surrounded by an ornate floral border, with additional classical relief scenes decorating the sides.
The underside is impressed WEDGWOOD / MADE IN ENGLAND and also bears a separate impressed “P” factory/workman’s mark.
Includes the original Wedgwood presentation box with original factory/product labels, identifying the piece as “WHT ON BLUE BOXED” and “BOX SQUARE.”

Condition
